Your telegram of 16th November practically all the assets in all the liquidations have been sold and cleared. The only outstanding questions are those of leaseholds and shares held by secured creditors riz. Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation and Chartered Bank of India, Australis and China. In some liquidations there are large contingent claims which will be probably impossible to settle definitely before the end of war. Despatch will go shortly reporting on the liquidations.
